THANKS TO ALL FROM EBONY

Hi everyone.  This is Ebony!  The surgery to remove my right eye went really well and my vet says the operation was just in time before the Uveitis started affecting my left eye.  The stitches have been removed and I'm doing much better.  Because of my beautiful black fur, it's hard to tell that my right eye isn't there anymore.  So I guess that eye patch my Mom made for me is not going to be needed!  I am so glad that I don't have to have 5 kinds of eye drops morning, noon and night anymore!  I was a very patient kitty but I'm glad that's over!   I can see just great with my left eye!  

My brother who was battling lymphoma died a few weeks ago and we were all pretty sad.  I cried twice as much in my one eye because I miss him so much.  My other brother is taking real good care of me because with just one eye, I don't have any depth perception any more. 

Between my brother who died and me, my Mom has spent a lot of money on vet expenses over the past few months.  I am so grateful to all of you who helped with donations for the cost of my eye surgery.  As of June 11, friends, customers and employees of Applebrook Inn have raised $227.00 towards my $800 eye surgery.   Thank you very, very much!
