At Applebrook Inn Veterinary Center and Pet Resort, we believe in the whole health of your animal and the relationship you have with it. This means focusing on enriching as many areas of your pet's life as we can. We practice Preventative Medicine and run routine diagnostics to prevent as much cost and discomfort as possible to both you and your pet. Our boarding facilities are structured to create an enriching environment, to ensure your pet's emotional and physical well-being while you are away, but also to give you the comfort of knowing that their medical needs are being cared for, as well. When problems cannot be prevented, we offer a wide range of interventional medicine, surgery, and long-term management of chronic conditions. We know that many people's pets are everything to them, so we try to be everything we can be for them, as well.
OWNERS: JAMES & ALYSSA PAINE
In 2017, Alyssa Klavans married Dr. James Paine, three years after the two animal lovers met. A born-and-raised native of Pennsylvania, Alyssa has spent her lifetime as a lover and protector of the natural world. She founded Applebrook Inn Pet Resort in 2003. James was brought up working in his father and grandfather's veterinary hospital in the state of New Hampshire. It seemed completely natural to the couple to bring their services together, under one roof. When they aren’t at Applebrook Inn, they enjoy traveling, great food, cycling, and gardening. Alyssa and James share their home with their Australian Shepherd, Crash, Miniature Australian Shepherds, Hobbes, and their lone feline, Wigwam. |
