*Must be available to work at least one weekday night (4pm -7pm) and one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday from 7am-3pm or 11am-7pm)*  ​
We're looking for a professional and reliable high school student with a strong love of animals and a genuine interest in working with dogs and cats.  Part-time Kennel Assistants are responsible for helping, feeding, clean, and exercise the animals staying at Applebrook Inn

Must haves:
  • Positive Attitude

  • Team Player
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Willingness to spend extended periods of time outdoors
  • Effective communicates - both orally and written.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning, feeding, and general care for overnight and day guests.
  • Provide supervision for 1 on 1 time and group play activities
  • Closely monitor all dogs in our care and report concerns to supervisors and veterinary staff
  • Interact with clients including assisting in arrival and departure of pets.
  • Outdoor property maintenance including lawn care and snow maintenance as needed
  • Assist in any other duties management sees fit
Hourly Pay & Benefits (summary only):

  • Starting salary: $15 per hour
